How to: Type non-keyboard characters.
Solution:
Copy a character from the Character Map application in the 'Accessories' window and use the 'Paste' command to insert the selected non-keyboard character into the report.
NOTE: This procedure uses the Character Map application located in the Windows folder.
1) If the Database window is not active, activate the Database window.
2) Click the 'Report' tab.

3) Select the desired report. (The selected report highlights.)
4) Click 'Design'. (The report opens in report design.)
5) Click in the field where the non-keyboard character(s) are to be inserted. (The cursor appears blinking within the field.)
6) Open the 'Character Map' application:
a) Click 'Start' todisplay the Windows 'Start' menu.
b) Select 'Programs'. (A submenu appears.)
c) Select 'Accessories'. (A submenu appears.)
d) Select 'Character Map'. (Character Map opens.)

7) Select the desired font from the 'Font' drop-down list box.
NOTE: For best results, use the MS Sans Serif font.
8) Select the character to be inserted. (The character appears highlighted.)
9) Click 'Select'. (The character appears in the Characters to copy box.)
10) Click 'Copy'. (The character selected is copied to the Clipboard.)
11) Switch to 'Access'.
12) Select the 'Edit' menu and select 'Paste'. (The non-keyboard character appears in the field.)
